Preparation

Option 1:

  1. Cook a cup of quinoa in a pot of boiled water (1.5 – 2 cups)
  2. Cover the pot and cook over medium-low heat for about 15-20 minutes until water is completely absorbed and the quinoa is tender.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve Quinoa in the same way rice is served.
  5. To add taste, sprinkle a pinch of salt to the grains.

Option 2:

Quinoa can be cooked by using a rice cooker as well. Simply add 1 cup of Quinoa to 1.5 cups of water.
